Responsibilities:
The Role: The University Relations Recruiter will be tasked with filling complex technical engineering or other functional roles across a business unit or a portfolio of business units.
This is a contract position. The position will be hybrid in the AMD Dublin office, requiring time in-person to support events and engagements.

The Person:
The University Recruiter is passionate about talent acquisition and working with the next generation of hires. They take pride in supporting their respective Business Unit through the full lifecycle recruiting process – from presenting eligible interns/co-ops, sourcing talent, and ultimately negotiating offers and hires for interns and intern conversions. They are an expert at all aspects of university recruiting and drive business impact by converting top students to full-time hires and hiring from top tier universities that are aligned with the desired skillset from the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts for interns and intern conversions in a fast-paced, technical environment
  • Drive a 50% + conversion rate by working closely with eligible graduating population
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience for all candidates engaging with the UR team
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Consult with hiring managers to set expectations, align on required skills, and advise on program details
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the applicant tracking system and follow local, legal requirements
  • Provide support for activities and projects for internship program
  • Attend local intern and recruiting events
  • Manage other duties to support University Relations programs and recruiting, as assigned

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
  • Passion for finding and attracting top student talent
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive, cross-functional relationships in a matrixed environment
  • Technically competent in the use of Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing tools
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Results-oriented mindset, including a high sense of urgency, determination, and tenacity
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities, processes, and deadlines appropriately
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team, manage conflict, and build trust

Preferred Experience and Education:
  • HS Diploma with 3-4 years of experience, BS Degree with 2+ years of experience
  • Working with college student population, in campus recruiting, and/or talent acquisition
