The business is looking to increase its market share over the next 12 months with impressive growth plans, they are seeking to open a further 150 stores in the next 4 years. You will work with closely with the Senior Buyer and wider buying team.

Job Description
- Analysing customer, market and product data, as well as key industry insights for your area.
- Buying Strategy: Ensuring we have the right suppliers for each product. through competitive tender processes, negotiation and analyse the end-to-end supply chains for your products; drive efficiency and save cost.
- Develop the companies supply base by opening major supply accounts and sourcing more European sourced products.
- Selling strategy: Building your price and promotional plans and agreeing funding with your suppliers.
- Deliver range reviews that improve our master assortment ensuring we offer great value to our customers.
- Identifying key trends in the market.
- Reporting on performance at periodic sales meetings.
- Managing SKU targets to ensure we are not over/under indexing.
The Successful Applicant
- Buying experience essential.
- Demonstrable experience in strong negotiations.
- A great team player and enthusiasm for working in a high performing team.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and ability to turn complex information into clear opportunities and decisions. Ability to lead projects and teams to deliver excellent results.
- Problem solving under pressure and working at pace.
- Excellent Excel skills.
