Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Material Control Manager to join our fast-growing Logistics and supply chain function. The role is flexible with remote working and occasional travel to the Manufacturing facility in Steyr, Austria.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast paced, cross-functional environment where you will be required to work collaboratively with parts of the Procurement team and the contract manufacturer.

What you will do:
This role reports directly to the Head of Logistics and will be responsible for the securing the availability of materials according to the forecast as well as managing demand.
- Leading the Material Control team on a daily basis (4-5 direct reports)
- Oversee all budget related topics and planning
- Set Strategic targets for Material Control and parameters for operations, including KPI reporting and managing actions to achieve or recover performance
- Implementation of new parts into the logistics flow as well as representing Logistics in management meetings
- Responsible for 3PL and Procurement set-up flows, system requirements and running updates of parameters
- System owner for Material Control Systems (QAD/MRP)
We would like you to have:
- Experience within logistics, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain
- Previous experience within an MRP Planning role (Material Planning)
- Ability to develop and create new logistic processes
- Strong analytic skills and ability to work with large amounts of data to perform in depth analysis and present findings to key stakeholders effectively
- Strong customer focus and service mindset with the ability to build sustainable and productive relationships both internally and externally
